Admissions

PADN BOYii.png

Starting At the Nursery

At the time of admission, according to the needs of your child, parents are encouraged to attend for at least part of an initial show around and then Settling-In period. Your child will be assigned a key person that will create a strong bond with your child, help them to settle-in and be responsible for observing, assessing, and planning individually for your child.  This helps to provide continuity of care and is especially important for very young children.

Fees

Funded Childcare

We provide the 15 hours per week free funded places for 2-and 3-year-olds. Some 3-and 4-year-old are entitled to another 570 hours of extended funded early education and childcare making it 1,140 hours in total, this is usually known as 30 hours funding. It is referred to as 15 hours and 30 hours because children can have a maximum of 15 or 30 hours per week over the school year (38 weeks).

9-23-Month-Old Entitlement

From Sunday 12th May, eligible working parents of children who will be 9 months old by 31st August can apply to access 15-hours of funded childcare places.

To apply for the 9-23-month-old entitlement parents can go to www.childcarechoices.gov.uk

If you're eligible, you will be given a code to bring to the nursery for a September start. New parents wishing to take up the entitlement must receive their code before 31st August at the very latest.

The application process requires parents to reconfirm their eligibility every three months, so parents new to the process, who apply before 1st June, will need to reconfirm their code prior to the offer starting in September.   Full details of the reconfirmation date can be found within the childcare choice account from which the code was issued.
